GRANTFIL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & TRANSPARENCY GUIDELINES

Last Updated: June 4, 2026

GrantFil utilizes advanced artificial intelligence modeling to help users research, structure, and draft grant narrative applications. This document outlines the technical boundaries of these models and the user's responsibilities.

1. LLM Core Integration

We leverage secure Large Language Model APIs (specifically `google/gemini-2.5-flash` via secure proxy gateways) to process organizational inputs and write narrative drafts. AI-generated responses are computed on-demand based on prompt contexts created from your dashboard briefings.

2. Obligation of Human Verification

AI models are prone to hallucinating citations, dates, or programmatic statistics. **It is the user's strict responsibility to audit and fact-check all generated draft sections.** GrantFil is designed to accelerate drafting speeds, not to bypass human expert review. We are not responsible for any application rejected due to inaccurate AI-generated data.

3. Ethics & Federal Compliance

Most federal, state, and corporate funding agencies permit the use of AI tools for writing assistance, provided that the submitted project goals, metrics, and organizational parameters reflect actual factual states. Ensure you review the specific AI disclosure guidelines of your target funding agency before submission.
